Buffalo Bills rookie quarterback Josh Allen cleared to return to f Antworten

ield against Cincinnati Bengals Buffalo Bills rookie quarterback Josh Allen was under siege against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. In the final minute of the half , Allen was taken to the ground as he escaped a sack, and hit his head against the turf. With Allen’s day essentially already over, he was taken out one play later and is being evaluated for a possible concussion.Allen spent most of Sunday afternoon under duress, being sacked five times in his two quarters of play. He narrowly escaped several more potential sacks by throwing away the ball or running out of the pocket. The Bengals had their way with Buffalo’s offensive line, and Allen wasn’t able to find an open receiver within the rhythm of the plays. If Allen is diagnosed with a concussion, he could be out anywhere from a few days to a few weeks, depending on the severity of the injury. Nathan Peterman would be the next man up, and AJ McCarron might be needed soon as he recovers from his shoulder injury.UPDATEAs the Bills jogged out on the field for the second half , Allen returned. The team announced he was cleared from concussion protocol. Here’s the video: Well, the Buffalo Bills did it again, finding a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory by squandering another stellar effort by the defense in Sunday’s 20-13 loss to the Houston Texans. In the latest edition of Billieve: A Buffalo Bills Fan Podcast, host John Boccacino is joined by co-host Anthony Marino to discuss the injury to prized rookie quarterback Josh Allen (sigh), the return of Petermania (ugh), and the atrocious play of Danny Crossman’s special teams unit. Among the topics covered: the Buffalo Bills have themselves a bona fide top-ten defense, one that constantly pressured and harassed Texans’ quarterback Deshaun Watson, finishing with seven sacks as veteran Kyle Williams led the charge with a pair of take downs. Lorenzo Alexander and Jerry Hughes each added 1.5 sacks Dion Dawkins Jersey , while Alexander also came away with an impressive interception after batting down a Watson pass and securing the pick. The Bills forced Watson to fumble three times, and picked him off twice. It wasn’t enough to help get the Bills (2-4) back to .500 by picking up what would have been a huge road win. No, an inept offense that managed only 53 total yards in the first half and shoddy special teams play that directly led to 10 Texans points ruined what was an otherwise stellar outing from Leslie Frazier’s defense. Before Nathan Peterman returned to the Peterman of old, he (briefly) looked like a competent NFL QB, tossing a perfect 16-yard touchdown strike on a double-move to Zay Jones, putting Buffalo ahead 13-10. But then the Petermania we’re all used to in Buffalo returned, with Johnathan Joseph jumping a curl route intended for Kelvin Benjamin and returning the ball 28 yards for the critical go-ahead score with 1:23 remaining. Even though the Bills had one last chance to tie the game, a special-teams blunder ruined what should have been good field position and Youth Kyle Williams Jersey , predictably, Peterman was picked off one final time to seal another crushing defeat. The play of Peterman, Buffalo’s second-year signal-caller, isn’t the only reason Buffalo failed to win, but bad QB play combined with awful special teams play certainly isn’t a winning formula for Sean McDermott’s Bills in 2018. The really bad news? It appears Allen’s elbow injury will sideline him for at least a few weeks, meaning unless the Bills make another roster move, Buffalo must move forward with the inspiring QB duo of Nathan Peterman and Derek Anderson for upcoming games with the Indianapolis Colts, New England Patriots (hello White Micah Hyde Jersey , Monday Night Football!), and beyond.
